abstract = {{Simulations of the Last Glacial Maximum have been performed with an
atmospheric general circulation model. We focus on a new approach of the
problem with the modeling of important climatic tracers: water isotopes
and desert dust particles. The mean dependency of the water isotope
content of precipitation with temperature is similar to the present-day
one, but can depart locally. The global amount of dust is little changed
for the ice age, but important changes are simulated over some regions.
